Last week was vacation week! My husband and I traveled to Tennessee for some mountains, fall leaves, and cozy time in a cabin. It was absolutely perfect. We sipped hot cider while Christmas shopping, marveled at the Smoky Mountains covered in leaves (and snow!), saw lots of animals, and enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace at our cabin! If you’ve never been to Gatlinburg I highly recommend it!
I loved getting to wear all my cozy sweaters, coats and boots while we were there. Of course my favorite late fall/winter pieces are from the LC Lauren Conrad collection! They kept me warm and feeling adorable!
I instantly fell in love with this sweater when I saw it, and knew the cabin would be a perfect place to show it off! Later in the day when it started to get more chilly, I paired it with a fuzzy LC cardigan sweater. Adorable kitten earrings and fuzzy boots completed my look!

It is getting chilly out there! And with the passing of Halloween into November, we have moved into the Holiday season! Cable knit sweaters are huge this Fall and Winter, so go grab yourself one! They are great to wear over a dress (as I did in a previous blog post), with a skirt, tights, and boots, or with a great pair of skinny jeans!
I have been obsessing over LC’s camel cable sweater for awhile, so I finally snatched it up along with a great pair of skinny jeggings. Let me tell you, these are the most comfortable pants you will ever wear! I am tall so it is hard for me to find pants long enough, but luckily LC offers hers in tall/long! The jeggings are nice and thick for those of you afraid of the leggings, it is the perfect solution!
I paired the ensemble with the most amazing leopard flats, but you could easily do boots or booties if it is too cold! The animal print vibe is another huge trend for this holiday season, so if you want to add just a touch of it without going overboard, these adorable flats are perfect! They also pair perfectly with a dress for a party!
Hope you are all having a wonderful first week of November!

Can you believe we are almost at the end of October? With Halloween approaching and dressing up on our minds, that whimsy sometimes sneaks into our wardrobes! (Which, in my opinion, is really fun!) Also, it’s hard to ignore the fluffy sweaters and festive holiday decor that are already starting to pop up here and there!
In light of that, a tulle skirt is perfect for this time of year. A couple of years ago I wanted desperately to buy one but thought it might be a tad impractical. However, when this perfect LC Lauren Conrad version came out this year, I couldn’t resist! This one is still girly and twirly, but also casual enough that you could dress it down with a tee and sweater (and you wouldn’t look overdone)! It is also incredibly comfortable and makes you feel like Cinderella. I opted for the gray version but it is available in whisper pink as well.
My one note is that the lining on the skirt is a tad thin, but I just wore a nude slip underneath and had no issues!
I paired it with a lightweight floral sweater in similar shades, and a gorgeous statement necklace! Perfect for a holiday gathering, Nutcracker performance, or even work (just dress it down a little!)

Have fun with your fashion this weekend!
Hope you all had a lovely week. It is still warm where I live, but we had one chilly, perfect Fall day! So for all of you who are still going back and forth a bit with the weather, I put together an outfit that can easily be used for both!
Start with a basic, cute, comfortable dress. I chose a versatile black and white striped jersey dress from Old Navy! (What is great about this one is that it can be used for Summer or Fall, and you can add accessories to change it up very easily!) First, I paired it with simple accessories to show how to give it a goof Fall vibe if it still relatively warm where you are. Next, I did a scarf for those chilly evenings! And last, I did a full blown “Sweater Weather” look with the dress. So easy, you just add a sweater! (This dress would also look amazing with tights or leggings underneath!) I chose a gorgeous golden mustard cable sweater from Old Navy for the third look. This color is so gorgeous (and it always reminds me of White Christmas)! I’ve seen this color popping up a lot this Fall and I’m so excited about it! It also looks great with black and white (houndstooth or stripe!)
So go get a great dress that can work in many different ways, and don’t be afraid to wear it again and again this Fall! It is easy on the bank (and the eyes!)

Greetings Fall Lovers!
I can’t believe September is gone, but I’m so happy to be moving more officially into Fall! This week I wanted to do a fresh, girly, floral look. This adorable coral/orange floral dress from Old Navy is so versatile! It is still pretty warm where I live, so I didn’t need to add layers, but it would look great with a fuzzy sweater, cardi or an anorak! Add tights and boots if it is getting nippy in your area! I love the fresh color (coral looks great on everyone – if you haven’t tried it please do!) The dress also comes in black floral.
Add a fedora, a poppy lip color, and a braid, and you are all set for Fall!

Last week I did a pale floral legging look and so many of you loved it, I decided to do a similar look with a darker feel (for those of you who are more bold!)
For those of you who aren’t in love with leggings, I suggest a maxi skirt! Same comfort level, but a little less revealing! I used to be nervous about wearing leggings, but finally tried it and have never gone back! They are so comfortable, and if you are worried about showing anything, wear a longer top, sweater, or blazer! Dusters are also coming back this Fall ~ perfect to pair with leggings!
I also loved the idea of mixing a little faux-leather edge with the sweetness of the floral leggings, earrings, and top. The strappy ankle boots also edge it up a bit and make it stand out!

I love florals any time of the year! The great thing about keeping them around for Fall is that you can wear them during other seasons! Another great trend for fall is beautiful embroidery. Show it off on a gorgeous top! I paired some floral leggings (I LOVE leggings!) with a pale blue embroidered top for a casual and easy Fall outfit.
Try adding a gorgeous scarf and doing your hair in a topknot to show off all the details!

There has been a huge focus on fashion this week with New York Fashion Week going on! I’ve been pondering how to stay true to my style and still try new things/go out of my comfort zone a little bit. The new thing for the last couple Falls has been faux-leather. I have always liked it but just have never tried it in a skirt or pant form. So I was overjoyed to find LC Lauren Conrad’s version at Kohl’s! *Sidenote: I do shop other places occasionally, LC clothes are just my absolute fave! I love how LC clothes make you feel – you put them on and you just feel classic, timeless, girly, powerful, and just amazing! So when I tried on the faux-leather skirt, I was wowed. It looks good on the hanger but even better on. The cut and length are really flattering, and I like how the waistline is a little higher (right on your natural waist to make you look super skinny). It has a flare that makes you feel like a million bucks. Order or go get one today if you are brave enough to try the faux-leather trend!!! I paired mine with a super feminine floral bow top and nude heels to lengthen my legs! Go out on a limb, be brave, and try something new (but still be you!)

Is Labor Day the true end of Summer? I am definitely a Fall Lover (by far my fave season!) I was already collecting plaids in June and had my Winter Fashion Inspiration board on Pinterest started in April. But this summer I got so many amazing pieces for my wardrobe, I’m feeling a little bit torn! I decided this week to take it day by day. If I feel like wearing plaid and scarves one day, I will. If I feel like wearing shorts and a breezy mint tank, okay! At least while the warm weather is still here!
I am a HUGE fan of maxi dresses for many reasons. At the top of the list, though, is that it keeps you breezy when it is warm, but also keeps you warm when it is cool outside! For the warm end of summer days, add a cardi and hat to throw on when it cools down at night, and you are all set!
In light of that, I really wanted to wear my gorgeous LC Lauren Conrad Floral Shirtdress! Unfortunately I just saw that it is sold out online, but I found a few more available on Ebay, and you might still be able to find it in store at your local Kohl’s! (Update: I checked, and they still have a good selection of these at my local Kohl’s!)

Happy Friday! (& Fashion Week!)
It is never to early to start collecting your jewelry and accessories for the holiday season! As we all know, jewelry can make an outfit truly special. And during the holidays, you can really kick it up a notch!
I have had my eye on the LC Lauren Conrad Starburst pieces for SO LONG (pictures of them kept surfacing but I couldn’t find them anywhere!) However, they finally arrived on the Kohl’s website and in stores about a month ago!
Starburst jewelry has long been an obsession of mine. I have a starburst brooch that I got after the 2004 movie of Phantom of the Opera featured them in Christine’s hair (glorious).
So, I obviously had to have all of Lauren’s starburst pieces! As seen in my pictures above, LC has a pendant necklace, statement necklace, and stud earrings. They are delicate, sparkly, and won’t break the bank (but still look expensive!) These are the perfect jewels to add a golden glow to any of your looks during the holiday season!
Run, don’t walk, to your nearest Kohl’s (or computer to Kohls.com) and snatch these up!
