Shades of Gray

Can you believe we are almost at the end of October? With Halloween approaching and dressing up on our minds, that whimsy sometimes sneaks into our wardrobes! (Which, in my opinion, is really fun!)  Also, it’s hard to ignore the fluffy sweaters and festive holiday decor that are already starting to pop up here and there!

In light of that, a tulle skirt is perfect for this time of year. A couple of years ago I wanted desperately to buy one but thought it might be a tad impractical. However, when this perfect LC Lauren Conrad version came out this year, I couldn’t resist! This one is still girly and twirly, but also casual enough that you could dress it down with a tee and sweater (and you wouldn’t look overdone)! It is also incredibly comfortable and makes you feel like Cinderella. I opted for the gray version but it is available in whisper pink as well.

My one note is that the lining on the skirt is a tad thin, but I just wore a nude slip underneath and had no issues!

I paired it with a lightweight floral sweater in similar shades, and a gorgeous statement necklace!  Perfect for a holiday gathering, Nutcracker performance, or even work (just dress it down a little!)
